I am currently lusting after this set of Bose portable speakers + subwoofer. I WANT. Unfortunately it costs $225 on Amazon. Seeing as the vast majority of my dinero goes into groceries and Metrocard fare, this is not going to be possible anytime soon. A girl can dream though.

I went to a house party in Williamsburg (I know, I know) last night and the host, E, had this system connected to his computer. Even with all the circumstantial noise that comes with having fifty people in your apartment, I could still not only hear, but enjoy the quality of the music. It does help that a lot of Tribe and De La Soul was played. However, even when it was only Trey Songz (of “Say Aah” fame), the quality remained an audiophile’s dream.  Deep bass and subdued treble. Powerful in terms of volume and three-dimensional sound.

In short, whenever I get a job, my first paycheck(s) will purchase this set.
